Directions

A choice of routes lead to Snowdonia. Approaching from the South follow the A487 and A470 over range after range of hills. The A5 travels through the centre of the region crossing the English border near Chirk. From the North the A55 coastal expressway system connects with the English Motorway system, follow A55 to Bangor and A487 to Caernarfon and Porthmadog, on the A487 after Bryncir take B4411 to Criccieth. At the cross roads in centre of Village, go straight over. Follow the road round to the right, at the T-junction turn right into Castle Street and down to Marine Terrace. From Porthmadog follow the A497 to Criccieth. Once in Criccieth take the 1st left opposite the Texaco garage, over the level crossing. Follow the coast road up Castle Street and down to Marine Terrace.
